Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete development of cosmetic and FMCG products within the skin care and commodity product portfolio.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Marketing, Business Development, Quality Assurance, Regulatory, Analytical, and Packaging to ensure cost-effective and efficacious product development.
- Work with external stakeholders, including manufacturing units, raw material suppliers, and vendors, for product scaling and commercialization.
- Identify and substantiate product claims with scientific evidence and proof of concept.
- Supervise lab activities, execute batch formulations, and lead scale-up processes at manufacturing units.
- Ensure compliance with cosmetic regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Qualifications and Experience
Educational Requirements
- M Pharm – Pharmaceutics
- M Tech – Cosmetics
- MSc – Cosmetics
Experience
- 8–10 years of hands-on experience in topical formulations development, including leave-on and wash-off products.
Skills Required
- Expertise in polymer science, cosmetic packaging, and stability requirements.
- Proficiency in understanding cosmetic regulations and standards.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Innovative mindset with a keen eye for product development and process optimization.
