Key Responsibilities

Research and Development:

• Develop new chemical compounds and pharmaceutical formulations.
• Conduct literature reviews to stay updated on industry trends and advancements.

Chemical Synthesis:

• Design and execute innovative chemical synthesis experiments.
• Optimize synthetic processes to improve product yield, quality, and scalability.

Process Optimization and Scale-Up:

• Refine processes to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale up laboratory processes for pilot and commercial production.

Analysis and Characterization:

• Use advanced analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-Vis, and NMR for product characterization.
• Document experimental results and prepare detailed technical reports.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure all R&D activities comply with GMP and FDA guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records for audits and regulatory submissions.

Qualifications

Educational Requirements:

• Master’s degree (MSc.) in Chemistry or a related field.

Technical Proficiency:

• Hands-on experience with laboratory techniques such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-Vis, and NMR.
• Strong understanding of chemical synthesis, purification, and reaction mechanisms.

Experience:

• Prior experience in pharmaceutical R&D or a related industry is preferred but not mandatory.
