Qualification

• PhD/Post Doc. in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, or a relevant field.

Experience Required

• Freshers and professionals with up to 5 years of experience in the CRO industry are eligible.

Key Responsibilities

As a Research Scientist in the R&D department, you will:

1. Perform complex organic transformations and techniques independently.
2. Independently propose and select literature procedures for transformations.
3. Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks with clear descriptions of reaction schemes, stoichiometry, results, and observations per SOP
4. Scale up reactions from milligrams to gram quantities efficiently and consistently.
5. Prepare and update reports, tracking sheets, and productivity sheets regularly as per project requirements.
6. Contribute to writing patents, scientific publications, and internal reports based on lab results.
7. Conduct activities in strict compliance with health, safety, environmental, and waste disposal regulations.
8. Train and manage Research Associates (RA) in chemistry techniques, EHS, and QA as required.
9. Liaise with clients when necessary, understanding their requirements and ensuring project delivery meets client expectations.
