Job Role: Clinical Research Team Member

Key Responsibilities

1. CRO Managed Studies

• Manage Contract Research Organizations (CROs) to execute interventional, non-interventional, and epidemiological studies effectively.
• Identify potential investigators and sites for clinical studies.
• Support preparing and reviewing clinical trial documents for Ethics Committee (EC) and Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) submissions.
• Oversee vendor management following Sun PhPharma’suidelines.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Medical, Regulatory, Quality Assurance) for regulatory submissions.
• Plan Investigational Product (IP) procurement and dispatch.
• Ensure timely reporting of serious adverse events (SAEs) and suspected unexpected serious adverse reactions (SUSARs) to regulatory authorities.
• Train CROs on Sun PhPharma’sharmacovigilance (PV) policies.

2. In-House Managed Studies

• Conducted site feasibility studies, identified potential investigators, and developed study budgets.
• Finalize study contracts and Confidential Disclosure Agreements (CDA).
• Manage site selection, initiation, monitoring, and close-out activities.
• Ensure timely recruitment of trial participants and effective data management.
• Train investigators and site personnel on study protocols and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
• Coordinate with the data management team for query resolution and statistical analysis.
• Oversee budget management and audit readiness.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: BaBachelor’saMaster’segree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or Life Sciences.
• Experience: 4–5 years in clinical trial operations within CRO, Pharma, or Biotech industries.
• Strong knowledge of clinical research methodologies, ICH-GCP, and regulatory guidelines.
• Experience handling large clinical trials across multiple sites.
• Expertise in remote and risk-based monitoring.
• Familiarity with New Drugs and Clinical Trial Rules, 2019, ICMR Guidelines 2017, and Drugs and Cosmetic Act regulations.
