About the Job

Clarivate seeks an Associate STEM Content Analyst – BioChem to join the Abstraction Team (IP Operations) in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers and professionals with up to one year of experience in content abstraction or editing. The selected candidate will contribute to enhancing Derwent products by analyzing patents and generating editorially enriched technical summaries.

Job Location:

Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India (Hybrid Work Model)

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• MSc in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry
• B.Tech/M.Tech in Biotechnology, Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry

Experience Required:

• Freshers preferred (0-1 year experience in content abstraction or editing)

Key Responsibilities

• Patent Abstraction: Prepare detailed patent abstracts in compliance with the DWPI Abstracting Policy.
• Patent Analysis: Extract key insights such as descriptive title, uses, novel features, advantages, and other relevant technical details.
• Content Enhancement: Provide editorially enhanced technical summaries for patent records.
• Use of Specialized Tools: Work with Clarivate’s proprietary content editing, abstraction, and curation tools.

Preferred Skills

• Strong knowledge of patents and drafting
• Excellent English comprehension skills
• Typing certification (preferred but not mandatory)

About the Abstraction Team

The Abstraction Team at Clarivate’s IP Operations curates high-quality content to enhance patent intelligence products. The team comprises 100+ skilled professionals specializing in Life Sciences and Engineering domains.

Work Schedule

• Full-time, Permanent Role
• Working Hours: 9 AM – 6 PM IST (including a one-hour break)
