Current Vacancy: Medical Writer II

Location: Gurugram, India (Hybrid)

Job Responsibilities

As a Medical Writer II at Syneos Health, you will:

• Mentor and guide junior medical writers on projects.
• Draft, compile, and edit high-quality medical writing deliverables, including:
  • Clinical study protocols & amendments
  • Clinical study reports
  • Patient narratives
  • Annual reports
  • Investigator brochures
• Review statistical analysis plans and specifications.
• Work closely with teams from data management, biostatistics, regulatory affairs, and medical affairs.
• Serve as a peer reviewer, ensuring scientific content clarity and consistency.
• Stay updated with ICH-E3 guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct clinical literature research when required.
• Maintain adherence to project budgets and deadlines.

Qualifications & Skills Required

• Education: MPharm, MSc, or BPharm graduates.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in medical writing, with substantial experience drafting and reviewing narratives.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email communication.
  • Extensive knowledge of English grammar, FDA, and ICH regulations.
  • Familiarity with AMA style guide.
• Soft Skills:
  • High degree of independence with strong presentation, proofreading, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret clinical research data.
  • Team-oriented approach with excellent interpersonal skills.
