Key Responsibilities
As part of Aragen’s chemistry team, selected candidates will:
- Independently set up and execute multi-step organic synthesis reactions to support project goals.
- Monitor reactions, troubleshoot synthetic issues, and purify target compounds using chromatography and crystallization techniques.
- Analyze and interpret analytical data (NMR, LC-MS, IR) to confirm compound identity and purity.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Data Integrity (DI) guidelines.
- Collaborate with project teams to meet delivery timelines and maintain quality standards.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Educational Qualification:
MSc. in Organic Chemistry (Mandatory)
Experience Required:
Minimum 2 to 14 years of hands-on experience in synthetic organic chemistry
Prior work experience in CRO (Contract Research Organization) setup is mandatory
Desired Skill set:
- Strong knowledge of reaction mechanisms and modern synthetic methodologies
- Proficient in characterization techniques like NMR, Mass Spectrometry, HPLC
- Attention to detail, safety-conscious mindset, and good documentation practices
- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
