Job Role & Responsibilities

As an Associate – Clinical Data Sciences (CDS), your primary responsibility will be to execute data management deliverables for global clinical trials. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure database design, data collection, validation, and delivery meet the highest quality and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end clinical trial data — from setup to final database lock.
  • Implement business requirements and ensure timely delivery of quality datasets.
  • Oversee data flow across multiple vendors, sources, and systems.
  • Contribute to the Data Management Plan, Project Plan, and dataset specifications.
  • Ensure data integrity, adherence to SOPs, and compliance with ICH-GCP, FDA, and MHRA standards.
  • Facilitate integration of niche and complex data sources (PK, biomarker, immunogenicity, etc.).
  • Support submission-ready dataset generation for regulatory purposes.
  • Conduct data validation, review, and query management activities.
  • Participate in regulatory audits and inspection readiness activities.
  • Collaborate with teams on data archiving, standardization, and decommissioning processes.

Project Management Responsibilities:

  • Track progress and report study build, data flow, and delivery metrics.
  • Apply therapeutic area knowledge to improve data review efficiency.
  • Drive operational excellence through continuous process improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.

Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Represent the Data & Analytics team in cross-functional initiatives.
  • Share learnings and best practices across global data management teams.
  • Promote process improvement to reduce cycle times and enhance quality.

Eligibility / Qualifications

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines:
    • Life Sciences (Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry)
    • Pharmacy (B.Pharm, M.Pharm)
    • Statistics / Informatics / Health Information Administration
    • Information Technology / Nursing / Biomedical Engineering

Work Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India
Experience Level: Entry to Mid-Level (Clinical Data Management / Clinical Research background preferred)


Preferred Skills and Competencies

  • Sound understanding of clinical data standards, CDISC, SDTM, and EDC systems (e.g., Medidata Rave, Inform, Oracle Clinical).
