Cadila Pharmaceuticals is recruiting an M.Pharm fresher for a full‑time role in its Intellectual Property (IPR) and Patent team at the Dholka site. Job Role & Responsibilities

As an IPR / Patent Associate, you’ll support patent evaluation and strategy development for new and ongoing formulation programs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting Freedom‑to‑Operate (FTO) searches for formulation products.
• Supporting patentability assessments for new product ideas.
• Assisting with patent drafting inputs and responses to office actions.
• Reviewing prior‑art to identify risks and opportunities.
• Managing patent portfolio tasks including docketing, annuities and portfolio pruning.
• Assisting in IP‑based decision‑making during new product selection.
• Learning and using patent databases for structured prior‑art searches.

The role blends scientific knowledge with IP interpretation skills, making it suitable for academically strong candidates with good analytical ability.

Eligibility / Qualifications

Required education:

• M.Pharm (Any specialization with strong formulation, chemistry or analytical background.)

Relevant coursework and fields include: Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Technology, Industrial Pharmacy, Drug Delivery Systems, Biopharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Quality Assurance.

Experience:

• 0–1 year (freshers welcome)
• Internship or academic exposure to IPR, regulatory science, formulation development or patent databases will be an advantage.

Key skills:

• Strong analytical mindset
• Ability to read scientific literature and interpret claims
