Job Role & Responsibilities

Drug Safety Executive (Training)

The Drug Safety Executive (Training) will be responsible for managing pharmacovigilance and non-pharmacovigilance training programs while ensuring end-to-end compliance with internal SOPs and global regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing PV and non-PV training programs across functions
  • Administering Learning Management Systems (LMS), with Veeva LMS exposure preferred
  • Tracking training compliance and preparing audit-ready reports
  • Coordinating training schedules with global stakeholders
  • Managing SOPs, training materials, and controlled documents
  • Conducting internal training sessions for PV and medical teams
  • Performing training impact analysis and driving process improvements
  • Supporting medical information operations when required
  • Handling label management documentation and document control
  • Overseeing vendor quality and training compliance activities

This role plays a direct role in strengthening pharmacovigilance systems, inspection readiness, and regulatory compliance, directly contributing to patient safety and public health outcomes.

Eligibility / Qualifications

Educational Qualification

M.Pharm, B.Pharm, B.Sc Life Sciences, B.Sc Biotechnology, B.Sc Microbiology, B.Sc Clinical Research

Experience Requirement

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in pharmacovigilance
  • Prior exposure to PV training, compliance, or QA-related functions is mandatory
  • Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS); Veeva LMS preferred
  • Experience in training coordination and global stakeholder engagement
