Job Role & Responsibilities

The Junior Chemist – Production will be responsible for supporting daily manufacturing operations in accordance with approved procedures and quality standards. This role requires discipline, attention to detail, and adherence to SOP-driven processes.

Production Operations

  • Operate and monitor production equipment as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Assist in handling manufacturing processes for pharmaceutical products
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned production activities
  • Support shift operations and meet production targets

GMP & Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Follow internal quality policies and regulatory guidelines
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards and operational protocols

Documentation & Record Maintenance

  • Maintain accurate batch manufacturing records (BMR)
  • Record production data in logbooks and controlled documents
  • Ensure documentation accuracy and completeness as per audit standards

Safety & Cleanroom Practices

  • Follow safety protocols in manufacturing areas
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment
  • Adhere to safety guidelines related to chemicals, equipment, and utilities

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) teams
  • Report deviations or process abnormalities to supervisors
  • Participate in training sessions and continuous improvement initiatives
