Job Role & Responsibilities
As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for managing medication dispensing, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting patient care within a hospital environment.
Core Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications as per doctor instructions
- Review prescriptions for dosage accuracy, interactions, and contraindications
- Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and precautions
- Maintain proper records for controlled and non-controlled drugs
Inventory & Compliance Management
- Manage pharmacy inventory including stock ordering and expiry tracking
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and pharmacy regulations
- Maintain accurate documentation for audits and inspections
Coordination & Operations
- Collaborate with doctors and healthcare professionals for effective treatment plans
- Handle billing and insurance-related pharmacy processes when required
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy
Eligibility / Qualifications
Educational Qualification:
B.Pharmacy, D.Pharmacy
Relevant Courses:
