Job Role & Responsibilities

As a Junior Chemist in Production Operations, you will be responsible for executing manufacturing processes and ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards. This role is highly focused on GMP production, documentation accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Execute manufacturing processes as per BPCR (Batch Production and Control Records)
  • Perform cleaning activities according to GCR (General Cleaning Records)
  • Ensure strict compliance with GMP, GDP, and regulatory guidelines
  • Handle SAP transactions related to production activities
  • Stage and manage raw materials and packing materials efficiently
  • Identify and report deviations during production processes
  • Maintain proper documentation aligned with regulatory standards
  • Follow safety protocols and environmental health and safety (EHS) guidelines
  • Coordinate with engineering teams for maintenance and breakdown support
  • Ensure proper waste disposal as per compliance norms
  • Maintain housekeeping standards within the production facility

This role directly contributes to the safe and efficient production of pharmaceutical products, ensuring quality medicines reach patients globally.

Eligibility / Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following educational requirements:

Diploma in Pharmacy, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, BSc Chemistry, MSc Chemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering

Skills Required:

  • Strong understanding of GMP and pharmaceutical production processes
  • Basic knowledge of SAP in manufacturing environments
  • Good documentation practices (GDP)
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
