Job Role & Responsibilities
The Senior Research Associate will contribute to synthetic chemistry programs and process development activities under the PDMO function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute multi-step organic synthesis for target molecules
- Support route scouting, optimization, and scale-up readiness
- Perform reaction monitoring, work-up, and purification using standard techniques
- Interpret analytical data (HPLC, LC-MS, NMR) to confirm structure and purity
- Maintain accurate electronic and paper lab notebooks with complete data integrity
- Collaborate with analytical and process teams to meet project timelines
- Adhere to EHS norms, GLP practices, and internal SOPs
This role directly contributes to accelerating drug development programs for global clients, ensuring quality, reproducibility, and scalability of chemical processes.
Eligibility / Qualifications
Educational Qualification:
Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry
Relevant Courses:
PhD Organic Chemistry, PhD Medicinal Chemistry, PhD Pharmaceutical Chemistry
Experience:
