Job Role & Responsibilities

Position: CDM Programmer I

The Clinical Data Management Programmer I will provide programming and database support for clinical research projects. The role involves working with clinical data management systems, database development tools, edit checks, and data validation processes to ensure high-quality clinical trial data.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Database Development

• Design, build, and test clinical study databases.
• Configure project-specific data collection systems.
• Develop and validate electronic case report form (eCRF) structures.
• Ensure databases meet protocol and study requirements.

Data Validation Programming

• Design and implement edit checks.
• Develop automated validation programs.
• Perform testing of programmed checks.
• Support clinical data review activities.

Data Import & Integration

• Define data import specifications.
• Import external data into clinical databases.
• Validate imported datasets for accuracy and completeness.
• Support integration of multiple data sources.

Clinical Data Listings & Reporting

• Create listings for clinical data review.
• Generate reports supporting data cleaning activities.
• Assist project teams in identifying data discrepancies.
• Support database lock and study closeout activities.

Project Support Activities

Educational Qualification
