- M. Sc., M.Pharm., or equivalent degree in Chemistry with 60% marks (or CGPA 6.5/10)
- Valid GATE/CSIR/LS-NET/GPAT/INSPIRE qualified
Desirable Qualification:
- Research experience in synthetic organic/peptide chemistry
Emoluments:
- ₹37,000/month

Job Description
The selected Junior Research Fellows (JRFs) will work on the Shivanka Research Pvt Ltd-sponsored project under the supervision of Dr. Anupam Bandyopadhyay. The positions are temporary, with a duration of 1 year, extendable on an annual basis up to 2 years or till the completion of the project, whichever is earlier.
About the Department & Responsibilities
The Department of Chemistry at IIT Ropar is renowned for its research and academic excellence. As a Junior Research Fellow, your responsibilities will include working on the synthesis and characterization of novel peptide derivatives for the treatment of obesity and diabetes. The research will contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge in the field.
