Position Title: Manager – Medical Affairs

Job Description
As a Manager in Medical Affairs at Cipla, you will play a pivotal role in driving scientific initiatives, supporting sales force development, and contributing to various aspects of medical communications. Here’s a glimpse of your responsibilities:
- Conduct training programs on therapies/products for the sales force.
- Evaluate products for portfolio expansion and life cycle enhancement.
- Interact with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to understand clinical practices and obtain medical guidance.
- Conduct medical and market surveys, supporting trials for scientific evidence.
- Shape the assigned therapy in an ethical and medically accurate approach.
About the Department & Responsibilities
Department: Medical Services and PV
Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Purpose: Generate scientific know-how for promotional strategies, sales force development, portfolio selection, regulatory compliance, pharmacovigilance, and other scientific communications.
Accountabilities:
- Achieve scientific proficiency in alignment with the medical strategy.
- Ideate and conceptualize promotional strategies for India and international markets.
- Identify therapeutic gaps and contribute to building a robust therapy-product mix.
- Build team capability through training sessions.
- Foster external advisor relationships to influence the therapy market.
- Ensure ethical actions in adherence to regulations and laws.
Education Qualification: MPharm, Master’s in Biological Sciences/Pharmacy/PhD/MBBS/MD
Relevant Work Experience:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience for Master’s in Biological Sciences/Pharmacy
- Fresher / 2 years’ experience with MBBS/MD
