Position Title: Manager – Medical Affairs

Job Description

As a Manager in Medical Affairs at Cipla, you will play a pivotal role in driving scientific initiatives, supporting sales force development, and contributing to various aspects of medical communications. Here’s a glimpse of your responsibilities:

• Conduct training programs on therapies/products for the sales force.
• Evaluate products for portfolio expansion and life cycle enhancement.
• Interact with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to understand clinical practices and obtain medical guidance.
• Conduct medical and market surveys, supporting trials for scientific evidence.
• Shape the assigned therapy in an ethical and medically accurate approach.

About the Department & Responsibilities

Department: Medical Services and PV
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Purpose: Generate scientific know-how for promotional strategies, sales force development, portfolio selection, regulatory compliance, pharmacovigilance, and other scientific communications.

Accountabilities:

• Achieve scientific proficiency in alignment with the medical strategy.
• Ideate and conceptualize promotional strategies for India and international markets.
• Identify therapeutic gaps and contribute to building a robust therapy-product mix.
• Build team capability through training sessions.
• Foster external advisor relationships to influence the therapy market.
• Ensure ethical actions in adherence to regulations and laws.

Education Qualification: MPharm, Master’s in Biological Sciences/Pharmacy/PhD/MBBS/MD

Relevant Work Experience:

• Minimum 4 years’ experience for Master’s in Biological Sciences/Pharmacy
• Fresher / 2 years’ experience with MBBS/MD
