Job Description
Role: Associate Content Editor – GENESEQ
Location: Hyderabad/Chennai
About the Department & Responsibilities: The GENESEQ team is a knowledge-driven powerhouse within the Intellectual Property Group at Clarivate. Comprising 37 colleagues with diverse expertise in Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Microbiology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, and Biochemistry, the team focuses on curating biological sequence-related information from patent documents. As an Associate Content Editor, you will apply your skills to index biological sequences, create records for mutated sequences, and maintain quality targets.
What Will You Be Doing in This Role?
- Apply biotechnology, genetics, and molecular biology concepts to curate biological sequence-related information from patent documents.
- Achieve weekly production volume and quality targets while maintaining consistency.
- Promote personal safety and the safety of others by following recognized codes of practice and ensuring safe working practices.
About the Team
The GENESEQ Team, led by a Team Manager, is a dynamic group with diverse roles and skill sets. The team’s product includes Nucleic Acid sequences and Amino Acid sequences, contributing to the broader field of intellectual property.
Hours of Work: 8.30 AM to 5.30 PM IST (includes 1-hour break), subject to slight changes based on business needs.
Current Mode of Work: Hybrid (2 to 3 days/week)
