Three-Day Hands-On Workshop on Flow Cytometry – Artemis Hospitals, Gurgaon (17–19 December 2025)
Artemis Education and Research Foundation, part of Artemis Hospitals Gurgaon, is conducting a three-day hands-on Flow Cytometry Workshop from 17 to 19 December 2025. This program is designed for postgraduate students and professionals who want practical experience in flow cytometry applications used in biomedical and life science research.
Flow cytometry is a critical technique for cell analysis, immunophenotyping, apoptosis detection, and cell cycle studies. This workshop offers both theory and extensive practical sessions on BD FACS systems under expert guidance.
About the Workshop
This training combines classroom instruction with hands-on practice on flow cytometers. The curriculum covers sample preparation, instrument setup, panel design, gating strategies, and biological applications commonly used in research and diagnostics.
Training Modules
Day 1 – Foundations
• Basics of flow cytometry
• Principles, components, and workflow
• Instrument operation, calibration, and maintenance
Day 2 – Applications
• Immune-phenotyping
• Apoptosis assay
• Cell cycle distribution analysis
Day 3 – Advanced Applications
• Reactive oxygen species (ROS) measurement
• Multicolor panels
• Data acquisition and analysis
• Troubleshooting practice
Participants receive supervised practice sessions on BD FACS instruments.

Applicants must hold a Master’s degree (or be pursuing it) in:
