Job Details

Position:

• Manager / Sr. Manager – Business Development (Southeast Asia, Formulations Business)

Location:

• Corporate Office, Vadodara, India

Educational Qualifications:

• B Pharm/M.Pharm or a degree in any science stream
• Candidates with an additional management degree will be given preference

Experience Required:

• 10+ years of experience in pharma business development, with at least 3 years focused on Southeast Asia
• Experience in managing operations across key SEA markets such as Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, and Hong Kong
• Strong exposure to B2B business dynamics and independent business travel across these regions
• Expertise in business contracts, regulatory frameworks, and strategic negotiations
• Prior experience in B2C business would be an added advantage

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement growth strategies for Alembic’s pharmaceutical formulations business in Southeast Asia
• Establish and nurture business relationships with partners, distributors, and regulatory bodies
• Identify new opportunities, drive negotiations, and execute strategic partnerships
• Ensure compliance with regional regulatory frameworks and trade policies
• Manage market research, pricing strategies, and competitive intelligence
• Drive revenue growth and achieve business targets for SEA markets
