Key Responsibilities
Pharmacovigilance Operations
- Manage global pharmacovigilance systems and SOPs.
- Oversee global safety database and ensure data quality and compliance.
- Supervise safety data exchange agreements (SDEAs).
- Interact with global PV vendors and partners for data integrity.
Compliance & Audits
- Lead internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.
- Take ownership of CAPAs and ensure global regulatory compliance.
- Monitor compliance with local and international PV regulations.
Systems & Training
- Act as PV systems SME for internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead automation projects and technical enhancements.
- Conduct companywide Pharmacovigilance training programs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, and Quality Assurance teams.
- Oversee vendor activities and ensure seamless CRO operations.
Candidate Profile
Required Qualifications
- B Pharm, MSc Life Sciences, or related healthcare discipline.
- 12+ years of experience in Pharmacovigilance with at least 9 years in PV operations and systems.
Preferred Skills
- Strong foundation in drug safety, clinical development, and post-marketing PV.
- Excellent knowledge of GVP, GCP, ICH, and global PV regulations.
- Skilled in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PPT, Access).
- Strong communication, project management, and vendor oversight capabilities.
