Job Overview

As a Clinical Data Associate/Senior Clinical Data Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and integrity of clinical trial data. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to manage data entry, quality control, reconciliation, database development, and regulatory compliance throughout the trial lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in clinical data management from study startup to post-database lock.
  • Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), regulatory guidelines, and data management plans.
  • Conduct data entry, quality control, and database testing.
  • Develop and implement CRF specifications and edit checks.
  • Support data review, query resolution, and medical coding.
  • Perform serious adverse event (SAE) and adverse event (AE) reconciliation.
  • Collaborate with sponsors, vendors, and project teams on data-related deliverables.
  • Utilize CDISC standards (CDASH, SDTM, ADaM) for data standardization.
  • Conducted database user acceptance testing (UAT) and maintained quality documentation.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Clinical Research, Bioinformatics, or related fields.
  • Experience: Minimum 4+ years of experience in clinical data management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines, regulatory requirements, and data management best practices.
  • Experience with MedDRA and WHODrug coding (preferred).
  • Understanding of clinical data standards (CDISC, SDTM, ADaM).
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and ability to collaborate with global teams.
