CSIR – IIM Online Interview for M Pharm, MSc as Project Associates

ONLINE INTERVIEW (Through MS Teams) ADVERTISEMENT NO. 25/2023

Applications are invited in the prescribed format (Google Form) from eligible and interested candidates for the engagement of Project Associate-I on a purely temporary basis. The positions are available under projects SERB-SRG/2023/000214 [GAP-3151] and SERB-SRG/2023/000916 [GAP-3152] at CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine, Jammu.

Position Details:

1. Project Associate-I (GAP-3151)
   • Number of Positions: 01
   • Essential Qualification: MSc./M.Pharm/M.S. in Chemistry from a recognized university or equivalent. Research experience in organic synthesis is preferred.
   • Desirable: Research experience in organic synthesis.
   • Upper Age Limit: 35 years
   • Monthly Emoluments:
     • ₹31,000/- + HRA for scholars selected through National Eligibility Tests-CSIR-UGC NET, GATE, or national level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.
     • ₹25,000/- + HRA for others.
2. Project Associate-I (GAP-3152)
   • Number of Positions: 01
   • Essential Qualification: MSc./M.Pharm/M.S. in Chemistry from a recognized university or equivalent. Research experience in organic synthesis is preferred.
   • Desirable: Research experience in organic synthesis.
   • Upper Age Limit: 35 years
   • Monthly Emoluments:
     • ₹31,000/- + HRA for scholars selected through National Eligibility Tests-CSIR-UGC NET, GATE, or national level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.
     • ₹25,000/- + HRA for others.

Important Instructions:

1. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates as per GOI/CSIR Instructions.
2. Age relaxation for Widows, Divorced Women, and Women Judicially separated from Husbands, as per GOI/CSIR provisions.

Selection Procedure:

1. Application form for these positions can be filled online in the Google Form. The Google Form link is available on the CSIR-IIIM website www.iiim.res.in.
2. The filled-up Google Form should be submitted by or before 24th November 2023, up to 5:00 pm.
3. The list of eligible candidates and the date for the Interview will be displayed on the CSIR-IIIM website www.iiim.res.in by the evening of 29th November 2023.
4. Eligible/shortlisted candidates will attend the Online Interview through Video Conferencing on MS Teams.
5. The viva-voce will be conducted online through Video Conferencing on MS Teams.
6. If a large number of candidates apply, the Screening Committee may re-visit the screening criteria and shortlist candidates for the Interview.
7. Candidates can interact in English/Hindi before the Selection Committee.
8. The positions are purely temporary on a contract basis and co-terminus with the respective projects.
9. Candidates must convert CGPA/SGPA/OGPA Grades into equivalent percentage as per the approved formula of the University in the Google Form.
10. Only candidates strictly fulfilling the eligibility criteria and possessing the degrees/mark sheets in the mentioned subjects should apply for the Interview.
11. Upon selection/empanelment, the original documents, including eligibility qualification, age, and relaxation, will be verified. Any discrepancy found will result in the cancellation of selection/empanelment.
