Job Role & Responsibilities
As an Administrative Assistant (Drug Safety Support), you will provide critical support to pharmacovigilance and medical information teams while ensuring accuracy and compliance in safety data handling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support for adverse event (AE) and product quality complaint (PQC) follow-up processes
- Prepare, format, and send follow-up correspondence including emails, letters, and reports
- Track and update follow-up activities in safety databases accurately
- Add and verify follow-up information in AE/PQC reports and ensure timely submission
- Support medical information enquiry handling teams with documentation and coordination
- Handle general administrative tasks including filing, archiving, and mail management
- Answer and manage incoming calls in a professional manner
- Assist in maintaining audit-ready documentation and compliance records
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure adherence to regulatory and data privacy requirements
Eligibility / Qualifications
Educational Background:
B.Pharmacy, M.Pharmacy, Pharm.D, BSc, MSc (Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry), Life Sciences
Experience Required:
- Freshers and candidates with administrative or pharmacovigilance support experience can apply
Skills Required:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Basic understanding of pharmacovigilance or medical information (preferred)
