Position Title: DBT (Government of India) Funded Project Position
Project Title: Personalized cancer treatment using Next-Generation Sequencing in Clinical Oncology
Technical Knowledge Required: Advance Bioinformatics, R Programming, Python, Next Generation Sequencing, Machine Learning, Snake Make & Nextflow
Duration: 6 months
Eligibility: BE/B.Tech/MSc./M.Tech. Biotechnology or Bioinformatics (Only for Freshers/Passed out from 2021 onwards)
Job Description
Under this project, successful candidates will gain knowledge and experience in cutting-edge technologies and methodologies related to personalized cancer treatment. The project focuses on utilizing Next-Generation Sequencing techniques in Clinical Oncology and requires expertise in various bioinformatics tools.
About the Department & Responsibilities
The project is centered around Personalized Cancer Treatment using Next-Generation Sequencing, and responsibilities include:
- Application of Advance Bioinformatics tools
- Proficiency in R Programming and Python
- Implementation of Next Generation Sequencing techniques
- In-depth understanding of Machine Learning in clinical settings
- Familiarity with Snake Make & Nextflow for workflow management
