Job Role & Responsibilities
As a Drug Safety Executive / Senior Executive, you will be responsible for pharmacovigilance case handling, literature review, and safety data monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform triage and processing of Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs)
- Conduct literature searches and review scientific articles for safety signals
- Handle MLM (Medical Literature Monitoring) and duplicate checks
- Review spontaneous cases and follow up for additional information
- Monitor adverse events (AE), product quality complaints (PQC), and safety reports
- Maintain safety databases such as Argus and regulatory tracking systems
- Support SOP updates and ensure compliance with pharmacovigilance guidelines
- Assist in weekly safety reviews and reporting activities
Eligibility / Qualifications
Educational Background:
B.Pharmacy, M.Pharmacy, Pharm.D, BAMS, BSc, MSc (Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry), Life Sciences
Experience Required:
- 2–4 years of experience in pharmacovigilance or drug safety
- Experience in ICSR processing, triage, and literature review
- Knowledge of global PV guidelines and safety workflows
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of GVP guidelines and pharmacovigilance processes
- Experience with safety databases such as Argus and literature tools like EMBASE
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Strong analytical and documentation abilities
