About the Clinical Data Management Team

The Clinical Data Management (CDM) team at Fortrea is crucial in ensuring clinical trial data’s accuracy, integrity, and security. This team collaborates with programming, coding, safety, lab, and biostatistics departments to maintain high-quality data standards across multiple therapeutic areas, including:

  • Oncology
  • Immunology
  • Cardiovascular
  • Medical devices

Key Responsibilities of Apprentice – Assistant Clinical Data Analyst

  • Review and action queries within specified timelines, ensuring data quality and consistency.
  • Assist in data entry, database updates, and quality control checks.
  • Support report generation, data listings, and ongoing consistency checks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain regulatory compliance and adhere to Good Clinical Practices (GCP).
  • Follow departmental SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and complete required training.
  • Participate in the Study Set-up, Conduct, and Close-out phases of clinical trials.

Eligibility Criteria

Education:

  • University/College degree in Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certifications in allied health professions from accredited institutions are also considered.

Skills Required:

  • Basic understanding of medical terminology and clinical research.
  • Knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in data management tools.
