Job Overview – Clinical Trial Manager

ICON Plc is currently hiring experienced Clinical Trial Managers in Bangalore, India. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about leading clinical studies while ensuring compliance with ICH-GCP guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical trial commitments, ensuring timely delivery and data quality.
• Lead Local Study Teams, consisting of monitors and study administrators.
• Ensure compliance with ICH-GCP, company policies, and local regulations.
• Develop Local Monitoring Plans and review monitoring visit reports.
• Identify and resolve complex study issues proactively.
• Coordinate with Investigators and ensure smooth recruitment strategies.
• Forecast study timelines, resources, budgets, and material requirements.
• Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs to ensure timely document submissions.
• Manage serious adverse event (SAE) reconciliations and study master file documentation.
• Provide guidance and training to new team members.
• Ensure accurate study-related payments and compliance with audit requirements.

Required Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Clinical Research, or a related field.
• University degree in medicine, science, or equivalent combination of education & experience
• Demonstrated ability to drive the clinical deliverables of a study
• Subject matter expertise in the designated therapeutic area
• Prior monitoring experience is preferred
• Ability to travel up to 20%

Essential Skills:

• Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and local clinical trial regulations.
• Experience in clinical study processes, data management, and drug handling.
• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
• Ability to adapt and work efficiently with IT systems.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
