Job Role & Responsibilities
Role: Medical Officer – Bioequivalence Department
The selected candidate will assist the Principal Investigator in conducting clinical phase activities of BA/BE studies and other clinical research programs.
The role involves medical supervision, subject monitoring, emergency care support, documentation, and protocol compliance during clinical trial execution.
Key Responsibilities
Subject Medical Care
- Provide medical care to all study subjects admitted in the clinical section
- Monitor overall subject health and safety during study periods
- Ensure proper healthcare support during clinical trials
- Handle medical emergencies whenever required
Vital Monitoring & Subject Safety
- Record and monitor vital signs during studies
- Ensure participant well-being throughout the clinical phase
- Monitor adverse reactions and health conditions
- Support patient safety compliance procedures
Clinical Research Coordination
- Coordinate with Principal Investigator during BA/BE studies
- Assist in management of adverse events during studies
- Ensure study protocol adherence
- Participate in clinical operations support activities
Medical Examination & Screening
- Conduct medical examinations during screening procedures
- Verify subject eligibility as per study protocol
- Ensure medically fit subjects are included in studies
- Support clinical assessment activities
Documentation & Data Management
- Compile raw clinical data in data sheets
- Maintain proper clinical documentation
- Ensure accurate reporting and data recording
- Follow SOP-based documentation practices
SOP & Regulatory Compliance
- Maintain awareness of current SOPs
- Follow clinical research guidelines
- Support regulatory-compliant study execution
- Ensure protocol adherence during studies
Equipment Handling
- Operate and maintain instruments used in the clinical section
- Ensure medical equipment readiness during studies
- Support smooth clinical operations
Emergency Medical Support
- Provide emergency medical care when required
- Assist ICU or emergency handling activities
- Support subject safety during critical situations
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform tasks assigned by section head
