About the IT Quality and Compliance Team

The IT Quality and Compliance team at Fortrea plays a vital role in ensuring that IT systems adhere to global regulatory requirements. The department focuses on:

• Computer System Validation (CSV)
• Customer/Sponsor Audit Support
• Regulated IT Document Management
• IT Learning Management
• Regulatory Questionnaires and Contract Review

Job Responsibilities

As an IT Quality and Compliance Apprentice, you will be responsible for:

• Document Management and Organization
• Tracking Metrics on IT Quality and Compliance
• Assisting with Questionnaires and Information Requests
• Reviewing and Updating Regulated System Inventory
• Supporting Audit and Compliance Teams
• Other IT Compliance-related tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related field

Skills & Knowledge:

• Understanding of computer systems infrastructure, support, and security
• Basic knowledge of regulations on computerized systems in clinical trials is a plus
• Familiarity with regulatory standards such as:
  • FDA 21 CFR Part 11 (Electronic Records & Electronic Signatures)
  • MHRA GxP Data Integrity Guidance
  • EudraLex Volume 4 Annex 11 (Computerized Systems Regulations)
  • ISO 27001 & NIST Security Standards
