Job Roles & Responsibilities
Production – Manufacturing Science & Technology (MSAT / TSD)
Designation: Officer / Senior Officer / Executive
- Operation of reactors, centrifuges, dryers, millers, vacuum systems, and pumps
- Hands-on exposure to crystallization, filtration, drying, milling, and packing operations
- Adherence to cleanroom and GMP manufacturing procedures
- Working knowledge of SCADA, DCS, and PLC-based automation systems
- Preparation and review of SOPs, BMRs, batch records, and equipment logbooks
Senior-Level Responsibilities:
- Process scale-up, troubleshooting, and debottlenecking
- Preparation of technology transfer and Tech Pack documentation
- Engineering calculations including material balance and utility mapping
- Participation in safety studies such as HIRA, HAZOP, and process hazard analysis
Analytical Research & Development (AR&D)
Designation: Research Associate / Senior Research Associate
- Execution of analytical activities for synthesis R&D and stability studies
- Analytical method development and validation
- Handling and troubleshooting of LC-MS, GC-MS, HPLC, GC, IR, and UV instruments
- Support to process development and regulatory submissions
Quality Control (QC)
Designation: Officer / Senior Officer / Executive / Senior Executive
- Sampling and analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and APIs
- Compliance testing as per GMP and 21 CFR guidelines
- Operation of HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV, auto titrator, and polarimeter
- Active participation in USFDA, EDQM, ANVISA, PMDA, and TGA audits
Quality Assurance (QA)
Designation: Officer / Senior Officer / Executive
- IPQA, AQA, validation, and QMS activities
- Review and approval of batch manufacturing records
- Handling deviations, CAPA, change control, OOS/OOT investigations
- SOP management and audit support
- Strong knowledge of cGMP, USFDA, WHO-GMP, and EU-GMP guidelines
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Diploma in Chemical Engineering, BSc Chemistry: 2–7 years experience
- BE/BTech/MTech in Chemical Engineering: 5–10 years experience
- MSc Analytical Chemistry / Organic Chemistry: 2–7 years experience
Relevant courses include Diploma Chemical Engineering, BSc Chemistry, MSc Chemistry, MSc Analytical Chemistry, MSc Organic Chemistry, BE Chemical Engineering, BTech Chemical Engineering, MTech Chemical Engineering.
