Job Role & Responsibilities
Quality Assurance (QA) Officer – OSD Manufacturing
As a QA Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining product quality, regulatory compliance, and shop-floor GMP adherence across manufacturing operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Executing In-Process Quality Assurance (IPQA) activities during OSD manufacturing.
- Monitoring line clearance, in-process checks, and critical quality parameters.
- Reviewing Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and Batch Packing Records (BPR).
- Ensuring compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and data integrity (ALCOA+) principles.
- Supporting deviation handling, investigations, and corrective actions.
- Coordinating with production teams to ensure quality compliance on the shop floor.
- Assisting during internal audits, regulatory inspections, and customer audits.
- Maintaining QA documentation and ensuring real-time recording practices.
Eligibility / Qualifications
Educational Qualifications
B.Pharm, M.Sc (Chemistry or Life Sciences)
Experience Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance.
- Mandatory experience in OSD formulation manufacturing.
- IPQA experience will be given first preference.
- Only experienced candidates from pharmaceutical manufacturing backgrounds should apply.
Preferred Profile
- Strong understanding of GMP regulations and shop-floor QA operations.
- Familiarity with documentation control, SOP compliance, and audit readiness.
