Job Role & Responsibilities
As a Safety & Pharmacovigilance Trainee, you will:
- Assist in processing Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) for clinical trials and post-marketing safety programs.
- Record, track, and maintain safety documentation in line with ICH GCP and GVP guidelines.
- Review global or local safety literature for coding and reporting.
- Support data entry and case creation in the safety database (per sponsor guidelines).
- Assist with narrative writing, MedDRA coding, and query management.
- Contribute to safety reporting, expedited reports, and pharmacovigilance documentation.
- Ensure compliance with global PV regulations and internal SOPs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in audits.
This trainee role provides structured exposure to pharmacovigilance systems and prepares candidates for long-term careers in drug safety and regulatory science.
Eligibility / Qualifications
- Education: M.Pharm, Pharm.D, BHMS, BDS, M.Sc + B.Pharm, or Ph.D. (Pharmacy) – 2025 passouts only.
- Experience: Freshers from 2025 batch (exceptionally motivated 2024 passouts with PV interest may also apply).
- Core Skills:
- Strong knowledge of life sciences and healthcare fundamentals.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook.
- Attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and multitasking.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with pharmacovigilance databases.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacology, and clinical operations.
- Exposure to collaboration tools like Visio or Team Share.
