Job Role: Sr Medical Editor (Regulatory)
Key Responsibilities
- Review and edit regulatory medical documents to ensure grammatical accuracy and compliance with style guidelines (AMA or custom).
- Conduct data integrity reviews to verify content accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with medical writers, project teams, and cross-functional departments.
- Lead complex or large-scale medical writing projects including planning, coordination, and internal meetings.
- Mentor junior editors and support training initiatives across global teams.
- Ensure compliance with FDA, EU, ICH, and ISO standards relevant to regulatory documentation.
- Use Adobe Acrobat and ISIToolbox for annotation and markup.
Candidate Profile: Skills and Qualifications
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
- Life Sciences
- Clinical Sciences
- English/Journalism
- Other related fields with strong editorial skills
Required Experience:
- Substantial experience in publishing, copyediting, and data review
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Familiarity with AMA Style Guide and regulatory environments
- Project management and team collaboration skills
- Experience using Adobe Acrobat and other publishing tools
