Job Role: Sr Medical Editor (Regulatory)

Key Responsibilities

• Review and edit regulatory medical documents to ensure grammatical accuracy and compliance with style guidelines (AMA or custom).
• Conduct data integrity reviews to verify content accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with medical writers, project teams, and cross-functional departments.
• Lead complex or large-scale medical writing projects including planning, coordination, and internal meetings.
• Mentor junior editors and support training initiatives across global teams.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, EU, ICH, and ISO standards relevant to regulatory documentation.
• Use Adobe Acrobat and ISIToolbox for annotation and markup.

Candidate Profile: Skills and Qualifications

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
  • Life Sciences
  • Clinical Sciences
  • English/Journalism
  • Other related fields with strong editorial skills

Required Experience:

• Substantial experience in publishing, copyediting, and data review
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Familiarity with AMA Style Guide and regulatory environments
• Project management and team collaboration skills
• Experience using Adobe Acrobat and other publishing tools
