Research Associate – Custom Synthesis

Educational Qualification:

• MSc. in Organic Chemistry

Experience Required:

• 1–4 years of experience (CRO experience preferred)

Number of Positions:

• 10+

Key Responsibilities

As a Research Associate at SynSmart, you will:

• Plan, set up, and monitor chemical reactions independently.
• Optimize reaction conditions to improve yields and outputs.
• Purify compounds using techniques like column chromatography, vacuum distillation, and crystallization.
• Characterize compounds using MS and 1H NMR.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and maintain a well-documented lab notebook.
• Conduct literature searches using SciFinder and other resources.
• Manage regular lab duties, including equipment maintenance, chemical inventory, and cleanup.
• Stay updated with the latest research in organic chemistry.
