Job Role & Responsibilities

Puerto Life Sciences is hiring for the Quality Control – Microbiology Department with the following positions:

1. Senior Executive – Microbiology

Experience: 5+ years
Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct microbiological testing of water, environment, raw materials, and finished products.

• Perform sterility tests, BET, and MLT according to pharmacopeial standards.

• Ensure aseptic monitoring, EM compliance, and media preparation.

• Support validation activities and GMP audit readiness.

• Maintain detailed documentation and ensure compliance with internal SOPs and regulatory requirements.

2. Officer – Microbiology

Experience: Up to 4 years
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in routine microbiological testing and laboratory operations.

• Monitor environmental conditions and support quality checks of raw materials and finished products.

• Prepare culture media, maintain lab equipment, and ensure data integrity.

• Collaborate with senior staff to support GMP compliance and validation activities.

Eligibility / Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Pharmacy, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, B.Sc/M.Sc in Microbiology or related fields.

• Hands-on experience in the sterile pharmaceutical industry is mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of pharmacopeial standards, sterility testing, and GMP practices.

• Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to maintain documentation.
