Job Role & Responsibilities
Quality Assurance – Injectable (IPQA)
The selected candidate will be responsible for in-process quality assurance activities within sterile and injectable manufacturing areas. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product quality, compliance, and patient safety. Key responsibilities include:
• Performing IPQA activities in sterile and injectable manufacturing areas
• Conducting line clearance activities before batch initiation
• Monitoring in-process quality checks during manufacturing operations
• Reviewing batch manufacturing records (BMR) and batch packing records (BPR)
• Ensuring compliance with GMP documentation practices
• Handling deviations, OOS, OOT, CAPA, and change control systems
• Monitoring aseptic areas and environmental compliance
• Supporting internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections
• Coordinating with production and quality control teams for issue resolution
Eligibility / Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following educational and experience criteria:
Educational Qualifications:
B.Pharm, M.Pharm, M.Sc (Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related disciplines)
Experience:
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance – Injectable
• Mandatory hands-on exposure to sterile or injectable manufacturing plants
• Practical knowledge of IPQA functions and aseptic operations
Additional Requirements:
• Strong understanding of GMP, WHO-GMP, and USFDA guidelines
• Good documentation practices and data integrity awareness
• Effective communication and coordination skills
