Job Role & Responsibilities
Position: Quality Control – Officer / Executive
Department: Quality Control (QC)
Qualification: M.Sc. (Chemistry) / B.Pharm
Experience: 2–6 Years
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform analytical testing, including physical and wet chemical analysis of finished products, raw materials, and stability samples.
- Handle analytical instruments like HPLC, GC, UV, and IR for quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Conduct calibration and standardization of laboratory instruments and volumetric solutions.
- Manage OOS (Out of Specification) and OOT (Out of Trend) investigations in accordance with company SOPs.
- Prepare and standardize reagents, maintain test records, and ensure CGLP (Current Good Laboratory Practices) compliance.
- Follow Data Integrity (DI) principles throughout documentation and analysis.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to maintain high-quality testing standards.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong analytical expertise in HPLC/GC systems.
- Understanding of GLP documentation, audit readiness, and data accuracy.
- Experience working in a regulated manufacturing setup (USFDA/MHRA/WHO) preferred.
- Willingness to work in shift operations and join immediately.
Eligibility / Qualifications
Education:
- M.Sc. (Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry / Pharmaceutical Chemistry)
- B.Pharm (Pharmaceutical Sciences)
Experience: 2–6 years in Quality Control – Analytical division.
Relevant Courses (comma-separated):
M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry, B.Pharm, Certificate in HPLC & GC Techniques, PG Diploma in Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance, Certificate in GLP & GMP Compliance, M.Sc. Organic Chemistry, B.Sc. Chemistry with pharma experience
