The HCC Medical Coder will be responsible for accurate risk adjustment coding based on US healthcare documentation and coding guidelines.
HCC Medical Coder – Work From Home
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Hierarchical Condition Category (HCC) coding based on clinical documentation
- Assign accurate ICD-10-CM codes for chronic and high-risk conditions
- Review medical records to identify reportable HCC conditions
- Ensure compliance with CMS risk adjustment and coding guidelines
- Maintain coding accuracy, quality scores, and productivity benchmarks
- Adhere to HIPAA and data security requirements in a remote work environment
- Participate in internal audits, feedback sessions, and quality improvement activities
This role directly supports risk adjustment accuracy, healthcare reimbursement integrity, and population health analytics.
Eligibility / Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Candidates should hold a qualification in pharmacy, life sciences, or healthcare-related disciplines.
Relevant Courses (comma-separated): B.Pharmacy, M.Pharmacy, Pharm.D, B.Sc Life Sciences, Allied Health Sciences, Paramedical Courses
Experience Requirements
