Job Role & Responsibilities
Position: Quality Assurance (IPQA) Officer
Experience: 2–3 Years
Qualification: B.Pharm / M.Pharm
Industry: Formulations
Location: Hyderabad
As an IPQA Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to quality standards during in-process operations, monitoring manufacturing compliance, and maintaining documentation in line with GMP practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in-process quality checks during manufacturing and packaging activities.
- Ensure that SOPs and GMP standards are followed across all stages of production.
- Review Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and Batch Packaging Records (BPR) for completeness and accuracy.
- Conduct line clearance before and after manufacturing/packaging operations.
- Identify and report non-conformances, deviations, and process discrepancies.
- Coordinate with Production and Quality Control departments for corrective actions.
- Ensure documentation and data integrity in compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.
- Support in internal audits, validations, and regulatory inspections.
Eligibility / Qualifications
Educational Background:
- B.Pharm / M.Pharm from a recognized university.
Relevant Courses: Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance, Industrial Pharmacy, GMP & Validation Practices, Regulatory Compliance, Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and Data Integrity.
Experience Required:
- 2–3 years of experience in In-Process Quality Assurance (IPQA) within the formulation manufacturing sector.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong knowledge of GMP and GDP.
- Experience in shop floor QA monitoring and documentation review.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Exposure to regulatory inspections (USFDA, WHO-GMP, or MHRA) preferred.
