Ipca Laboratories is recruiting experienced M.Pharm professionals for Research Associate and Research Scientist roles in Formulation & Development (F&D) for regulated markets. The position is ideal for formulation specialists who have hands-on exposure to solid orals and liquid solutions and want to work closely with global regulatory pathways, product development strategies, and technology transfer operations.

Job Role & Responsibilities

You will be responsible for end-to-end formulation development activities for regulated markets across solid oral dosage forms and liquid solutions. Key responsibilities include:

• Conduct literature and patent searches; prepare scientific reviews and documentation.
• Apply for test licenses and import licenses; raise indents for API, raw materials, packaging materials, and tooling.
• Design experiments using Design Expert or similar statistical optimisation software.
• Execute pre-formulation studies, trial batches, and formulation optimisation.
• Plan, prepare, and manage stability batches; ensure data collection and archival.
• Maintain accurate and real-time documentation, including LNB and equipment logbooks.
• Prepare MMD, TAD, BOM, EPO, and other technical documents.
• Initiate coding requests for new APIs, excipients, and products; track approvals.
• Execute demo batches and support technology transfer to manufacturing sites.
• Prepare product development reports, presentations, and PDR documentation.

This role requires strong analytical thinking, formulation expertise, and the ability to work in a regulated environment with high standards of documentation and compliance.

Eligibility / Qualifications

• Education: M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Technology, Drug Delivery, Industrial Pharmacy).
• Experience: 3–8 years in formulation & development for regulated markets.
• Preferred dosage forms: Solid orals and liquid solutions.
• Strong understanding of QbD, DOE, formulation optimisation, scale-up, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in maintaining stability data, executing trial batches, and supporting tech transfer.

Relevant courses: M.Pharm Pharmaceutics, M.Pharm Industrial Pharmacy, M.Pharm Pharmaceutical Technology, PG Diploma in Drug Regulatory Affairs, PG Diploma in Formulation Development.
