Job Role & Responsibilities
Production API Department
Selected candidates will be responsible for executing and monitoring API manufacturing activities in accordance with approved batch production and control records.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring process operations and work-up activities of API batches as per SOPs and BPCRs
- Receiving raw materials and solvents from the store and verifying correctness as per raw material requisitions
- Accurate and timely completion of BPCRs, equipment usage logs, and production documentation
- Following approved production schedules and charging batches accordingly
- Sampling distilled solvents, reaction mass, and intermediates as required and coordinating sample submission to Quality Control
- Ensuring batches are executed and charged on time in line with production planning
- Maintaining GMP compliance, safety practices, and housekeeping standards during operations
This role directly contributes to consistent API quality, batch traceability, and uninterrupted supply to formulation and export markets.
Eligibility / Qualifications
Educational Qualifications
- Diploma in Chemistry
- B.Sc in Chemistry
Relevant courses include Organic Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Chemical Technology, and related science disciplines.
Experience Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in API production within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing unit
