Job Role & Responsibilities
As a Trainee Officer – Production (Mammalian), you will be involved in biologics manufacturing processes, including buffer preparation, protein purification, and equipment operations within a GMP-regulated environment.
Biopharma Production Responsibilities:
- Prepare buffers for small-scale and large-scale production processes
- Perform IPQC (In-Process Quality Control) for buffers and protein intermediates
- Execute CIP (Cleaning-In-Place) of chromatography systems, TFF systems, and process vessels
- Perform SIP (Sterilization-In-Place) of production equipment
- Operate chromatography systems, TFF systems, virus filtration systems, and downstream filtration processes
- Support protein purification and biologics manufacturing workflows
- Prepare and maintain SOPs, BPRs, and qualification documents
- Ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory documentation standards
- Coordinate with Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) teams
- Review executed batch production records (BPRs)
- Manage raw material inventory and consumables planning
- Operate and maintain autoclaves for sterilization and decontamination
This role directly contributes to biopharmaceutical production, ensuring product quality, regulatory compliance, and efficient manufacturing operations.
Eligibility / Qualifications
Required Education:
BSc Biotechnology, MSc Biotechnology, Life Sciences
Experience:
- 0 to 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical production, biotech manufacturing, or related fields
