Job Role & Responsibilities

As a Regulatory Affairs Professional, you will work closely with global regulatory teams to ensure compliance with international chemical regulations. The role focuses heavily on REACH and CLP regulations in the European Union and similar frameworks globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain hazard classification and safety data in IUCLID for submissions to ECHA and EU authorities
  • Support regulatory submissions including PCN (Poison Centres) and SCIP notifications
  • Assist in EU regulatory impact assessments across business units
  • Manage incoming communications and actions within REACH-IT systems
  • Monitor tonnage updates and support SVT tracking for registrations
  • Contribute to chemical risk assessments and implementation of risk management measures
  • Support product stewardship and regulatory compliance initiatives
  • Develop SOPs, tools, and process improvements for regulatory operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to ensure compliance across product lifecycle

This role plays a critical part in ensuring safe use and regulatory compliance of chemical products across global markets.


Eligibility / Qualifications

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in science or related discipline

Relevant educational backgrounds include:

B.Sc Chemistry, B.Sc Life Sciences, M.Sc Chemistry, Toxicology, Environmental Science, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, Industrial Chemistry

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in regulatory affairs, chemical compliance, or related field

Preferred Knowledge:

  • Basic knowledge of toxicology, crop protection, or animal nutrition
  • Familiarity with REACH, CLP, and global chemical regulations
  • Experience with tools such as SAP, IUCLID, and CHESAR is an advantage
