Job Role & Responsibilities
The Quality Control team ensures the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of analytical results supporting API, intermediates, and formulation development.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and non-routine analysis using HPLC, GC, UV, FTIR, and other analytical instruments.
- Conduct raw material, intermediate, in-process, and finished product testing.
- Review chromatographic data, interpret results, and document findings as per GDP.
- Maintain lab notebooks, instrument logs, and analytical records.
- Follow GMP standards and adhere to approved SOPs during all analytical procedures.
- Support calibration, qualification, and troubleshooting of analytical instruments.
- Participate in internal audits and ensure readiness for regulatory inspections.
- Work in shifts as required by production and QC scheduling.
These responsibilities require good documentation discipline, strong analytical thinking, and reliability in a regulated lab environment.
Eligibility / Qualifications
Required Education
- Master of Science (Chemistry)
Relevant courses: Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Biochemistry.
Experience
- 1 to 5 years of QC experience in pharmaceuticals, biotech, API, or chemical industries.
- Freshers with strong academic performance may also be considered.
Skills & Competencies
- Hands-on experience with HPLC, GC, UV, and FTIR.
- Strong understanding of GMP and Good Documentation Practices.
- Ability to work shifts and manage analytical workloads.
- Attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping.
Location & Salary
Job Location: Unit-2, Harohalli, Bengaluru South District, Karnataka.
Salary will be offered based on qualification, analytical capability, and experience. Analytical roles involving regulated QC responsibilities typically receive industry-aligned compensation.
