Job Role & Responsibilities
As the Assistant Manager – Quality Control (Biologics), you will play a key role in managing analytical activities, ensuring product quality, and maintaining compliance with national and international standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead QC Biologics teams handling Instrumentation, Potency-Based Assays, Biochemical Testing, and ELISA Techniques.
- Oversee team planning, scheduling, and shift execution to meet production timelines.
- Review and ensure accuracy in analytical data and documentation as per GLP/GDP guidelines.
- Manage testing related to HPLC, electrophoresis, physicochemical, biochemical, immunochemical, and cell-based techniques.
- Ensure efficient operation and maintenance of QC equipment and analytical instruments.
- Supervise sample management, training programs, and QMS (Quality Management System) compliance.
- Prepare, review, and approve analytical reports, CAPAs, and deviations.
- Coordinate with production, QA, and R&D teams for process alignment and improvement.
Eligibility / Qualifications
Educational Qualification:
- M.Sc in Biotechnology/Biochemistry, or
- B.Tech in Biotechnology
Experience Required:
- 9–11 years of relevant experience in QC Biologics (Instrumentation, Analytical Techniques, or Biochemical Assays).
- Experience in biopharma companies is mandatory.
- Male candidates preferred as per departmental requirements.
Core Competencies:
- Strong analytical and leadership skills.
- Sound understanding of biochemical assays, ELISA techniques, and analytical instruments.
- Expertise in regulatory compliance, data integrity, and laboratory management systems.
