Job Role & Responsibilities
As a Medical Coder Trainee – Home Health Coding, you will be trained to convert clinical documentation into standardized medical codes used for insurance billing and healthcare analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and apply ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines under supervision
- Review clinical documentation related to home health services
- Assign accurate medical codes for diagnoses and procedures
