Job Role & Responsibilities
As a Research Associate in R&D, you will support formulation development, feasibility studies, and product evaluation activities across assigned projects. Key responsibilities include:
Formulation & Development Activities
- Conduct initial feasibility studies for new development projects.
- Assist in the design and development of formulations for regulatory markets.
- Perform stability studies for premixes and pharmaceutical development projects.
- Prepare sample premixes as per marketing requirements and coordinate analysis and customer trials.
Documentation & Quality Compliance
- Maintain lab notebooks, analytical reports, trial documents, TTDs, and dispatch records.
- Manage calibration of lab instruments and equipment.
- Ensure adherence to GMP, QMS, and data integrity standards.
- Maintain documentation related to audits, marketing queries, samples, and day-to-day lab activity.
Technical Support & Coordination
- Conduct literature searches on material compatibility, formulation approaches, and process technologies.
- Prepare Cost Data Sheets (CDS) for proposed formulations.
- Follow up on pending analytical results and documentation.
- Procure new raw materials as required.
- Support internal training activities within HNH and ANH teams.
- Ensure safety compliance across laboratory operations.
Eligibility / Qualifications
Education:
- Master’s Degree (MPharm, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or equivalent)
Desired Skills:
- Strong understanding of formulation science.
- Ability to manage laboratory documentation with accuracy.
- Knowledge of oral solid dosage forms is an advantage.
- Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced R&D environment.
