Job Role & Responsibilities
R&D Biotechnology – Molecular Biology & Mammalian Cell Culture
- Perform hands-on work in mammalian and microbial cell culture systems
- Develop and optimize therapeutic protein expression using E. coli and yeast expression systems
- Design and execute molecular cloning strategies including primer design and vector construction
- Generate and characterize expression vectors for protein production
- Develop stable CHO cell lines for monoclonal antibody (mAb) and therapeutic protein production
- Perform single-cell cloning and scale-up studies including fed-batch shake flask experiments
- Prepare and characterize cell banks (RCB, MCB, WCB, EPCB) as per ICH guidelines
- Conduct purification and characterization of expressed proteins
- Collaborate with CROs and CDMOs for technology transfer activities
- Maintain accurate experimental records using LNB and ELN systems
- Troubleshoot experimental challenges and optimize protocols
