  • Production Chemist — 1 position — Fresher (B.Pharm / M.Pharm / M.Sc)
  • Formulation & Development Officer — 1 position — 1 to 2 years (OSD experience required)
  • QC (Microbiology) — 2 positions — 2 to 5 years
  • Quality Control (Analytical) — 1 position — 2 to 5 years
  • ITI Fitter (Autoclave/Vial Washing Machine Operator) — 1 position — 2 to 3 years

Each role supports critical functions in manufacturing and quality, enabling product consistency, compliance to pharmacopeial standards, and safe delivery of medicines to patients.

Job Role & Responsibilities

Production Chemist (Fresher)

  • Assist in batch manufacturing for oral solid dosage forms under supervision.
  • Support material handling, weighing, and in‑process checks per BMRs and SOPs.
  • Learn operation of granulation, drying, compression and coating equipment.
  • Carry out basic documentation and support housekeeping and GMP practices.
  • Participate in training programs on safety, SOPs and cleanroom behaviour.

Formulation & Development Officer (1–2 years)

  • Support formulation trials, scale‑up activities and tech transfers for OSD products.
  • Prepare trial protocols, record observations and analyse formulation performance.
  • Troubleshoot process variability and suggest corrective measures to improve yield and stability.
  • Work on excipient compatibility, dissolution profiling and stability batch planning.
  • Collaborate with QC for analytical method support and data interpretation.

QC (Microbiology) (2–5 years)

  • Perform microbial limit tests, sterility checks (if applicable), environmental monitoring, and bioburden analysis.
  • Maintain GLP‑style documentation and ensure adherence to microbiological SOPs.
  • Support media preparation, incubation, colony counting and trending of microbiological data.
  • Participate in microbial investigations and corrective actions for OOS/OOT events.

Quality Control – Analytical (2–5 years)

  • Execute HPLC, UV, GC and wet chemistry tests for raw materials, in‑process and finished products.
  • Review analytical data, prepare test reports and ensure ALCOA+ compliant documentation.
  • Support stability testing, method validation and analytical troubleshooting.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, coordinate preventive maintenance and calibration.

ITI Fitter (Autoclave / Vial Washing) (2–3 years)

  • Operate and maintain autoclave and vial washing equipment per SOPs and safety norms.
  • Carry out routine mechanical checks, basic repairs, and coordination with engineering for major faults.
  • Ensure proper cleaning and sterilization cycles are followed and logged.

Eligibility / Qualifications

  • Production Chemist: B.Pharm / M.Pharm / M.Sc (Fresher)
  • Formulation & Development Officer: B.Pharm / M.Pharm / M.Sc — 1–2 years OSD experience
  • QC (Micro): M.Sc (Microbiology) or equivalent — 2–5 years microbiology experience in pharma
  • Quality Control (Analytical): B.Pharm / M.Pharm / M.Sc (Analytical/Pharma) — 2–5 years
  • ITI Fitter: ITI Fitter with 2–3 years experience operating autoclave/vial washing machines

Soft skills: Good communication, teamwork, attention to detail, adherence to safety and GMP. Candidates must be willing to work in a manufacturing environment and follow plant discipline.

Relevant courses (comma‑separated): B.Pharm, M.Pharm, M.Sc (Pharmaceutical Sciences), M.Sc Microbiology, B.Tech Chemical, Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology, ITI Fitter, GMP Training, HPLC/Analytical Methods Certification.
